New DMR Repeater at Folkestone

DMR repeater GB7CK came on the air last Saturday. According to the keeper Matt M1CMN it is performing better than the DStar repeater GB7FK-B that it has replaced, using the same antenna, feeder and filters. Visitor from Cray Valley Radio Society

Today in the Visitor Centre car park at the Country Park, Phil G8OPA, down here from Sidcup and staying in a caravan was operating on 2m with a FT-897. The dual band vertical is on a Clark push up mast. Phil is a member of the Cray Valley Radio Society.
